The Car
I am the VERY proud owner of a 1966 Ford Custom 500. The car is entirely original, and has 107,000 easy miles. The Custom 500 was the base model of the Galaxie in 1966, and the one I have has a 240ci 6-cyl (Big-Six) engine, which is also all original. I am the 3rd owner of tthe car. My aunt has owned this car since 1982, and she bought it off of a local couple. It has spent its entire life in Northeast Arkansas. I have the original title, papers, and almost all of the original parts for it. My plan it to keep it as close to original as possible as I restore it.
About Me
My name is Matt Critcher, and I am by day a College Professor at UACCB, and by night i am a Linux Geek. I also give a bit of my time to my friends at Pleth, where I help them with their server administration. I graduaded HS in 1994 from Weiner, went on to college at Lyon College graduating in 1998 with degrees in Economics and Management. I still run the clock for the Scots and Pipers basketball teams. After Lyon, I earned an MBA in December 1999 from The Sam Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas. Actually, I earned the last hours for my degree at CIMBA, in Asolo, Italy during the summer of 1999. Yes, Italy is as good as they say it is, but Paris is still my favorite city. I love cars. All cars. Most days I drive a 1997 Mercedes E-420, but I also own a 1987 Dodge Ramcharger LE 150. My dad has a 1966 Pontiac GTO he needs to start working on. Maybe he will see this and get inspired...hahah. I have two wonderful nieces, a sister who drives me crazy, and a 14 year old cat named Buster.
